RUSH returns to pro scene as part of Party Astronauts

American esports athlete William "RUSH" Wierzba returned to competing after a long period of inactivity. As part of the Party Astronauts roster, he participated in the qualifiers for ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024.

RUSH has been out of the Counter-Strike pro scene since May of last year, when he played his last official match for Evil Geniuses Black. In the summer, the EG roster disbanded, while the player announced a break, being ready to return after the release of CS2.

Notably, on March 11, Wierzba revealed via his Twitter account his desire to continue his career after improving his life outside of esports. However, the 29-year-old American did not disclose his future plans.

In the ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 North American Open Qualifier, Party Astronauts with RUSH advanced to the decisive match, in which they will face Carpe Diem for a ticket to the closed qualifier. The match will take place today, March 13 at 23:00 CET.
