NRG replaces Rocket at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR

NRG will participate in PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR. Tournament operator PGL announced this via its Twitter account.

These changes come after Rocket's withdrawal from the qualifier. Note that previously the team got into several scandals at once. In particular, Damian "EMIYA" Boulware was banned from FACEIT, and roster's coach Alexandr "Psycho⁠" Zlobin communicated with the players directly during the closed qualifier matches, which is prohibited by the rules.

In addition, Blake "Elk⁠" Swinson was unable to obtain a visa to Mexico, while Ahmed "ayy" Mahmoud claimed that he has no desire to attend the RMR tournament. As a result, Rocket decided to withdraw from PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR, while its place went to NRG, which lost to the team in the match for the ticket to the qualifier.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR will take place from March 1 to 4 in Monterrey, Mexico. At the qualifier, sixteen teams will compete for five tickets to the Major in Copenhagen, which will be held later that month.
