IEM Katowice 2024 best five and EVP winners revealed

The authoritative portal HLTV.org has announced the best five of IEM Katowice 2024. In addition, the editors selected esports athletes who deserved the Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVP) award.

Team Spirit's in-game leader, Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov took over as an IGL. Besides him, the all-star roster included Danil "donk" Kryshkovets and Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia, who secured the roles of opener and anchor, respectively.

In addition, FaZe's David "frozen" Čerňanský and G2's Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov also made it into the best five. They received the closer and AWPer roles, respectively.

The EVP winners of IEM Katowice 2024 are the aforementioned frozen and m0NESY, as well as Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov, Helvijs "broky" Saukants and Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz.

IEM Katowice 2024 took place from January 31 to February 11 in Katowice, Poland. Team Spirit won the tournament, defeating FaZe in the final. In turn, donk was crowned the MVP of the event, finishing it with an average rating of 1.70.
