Team Spirit and FaZe through to IEM Katowice 2024 playoffs; Apeks and Rebels out

Team Spirit and FaZe advanced to the IEM Katowice 2024 playoffs. They secured victories in the upper bracket semi-finals of Group A, and now the rosters will compete for a ticket to the semi-finals of the decisive stage of the event.

The Dragons defeated Complexity with a scoreline of 2:0 – 13:3 on Ancient and 13:5 on Overpass. In turn, Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad bested Eternal Fire with a scoreline of 2:1 – 16:14 on Inferno, 13:16 on Anubis and 13:5 на Nuke.

In turn, Apeks and Rebels got eliminated from IEM Katowice 2024. The teams suffered their second losses in the group stage of the tournament, placing 13th-16th and securing $10K each.

The Martin "STYKO" Styk-led roster lost to NAVI with a scoreline of 1:2 – 11:13 on Ancient, 13:11 on Anubis and 8:13 on Mirage. However, the Polish team lost to Falcons with a scoreline of 1:2 – 9:13 on Vertigo, 13:9 on Anubis and 10:13 on Nuke.

Tomorrow, February 5, IEM Katowice 2024 will continue with six matches. At 13:30 CET the elimination matches Vitality – Heroic and Monte – Cloud9 will play out, at 16:30 CET matches for the playoff spots ENCE – G2 and GamerLegion – MOUZ will kick off, while at 19:30 CET the Complexity – Falcons and NAVI – Eternal Fire matchups will fight for survival at the event.
