CS2's average player count in January dropped by 9.2K compared to last month

The analytical service Steam Charts revealed the data on Counter-Strike 2's average player count in January 2024. At the end of the last month, this statistic reached 760,859 users.

This is 9.2K players less than in December 2023. At the same time, the peak player count in January was higher than a month earlier – 1,277,907 versus 1,248,217 users.

Note that in January the game set an anti-record for the peak number of concurrent players over the past year and a half. Then the peak player count amounted to 874,727 users, which is the worst number since July 2022.
