Vitality, FaZe, G2 and BIG advance to grand finals of their groups at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024

On January 26, at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024, the lower bracket finals took place in each of the four groups. The playday saw Vitality, FaZe, G2 and BIG advancing to the grand finals of their groups, while Falcons, GamerLegion, NIP and Cloud9 got relegated.

In Group A, Vitality bested Falcons with a scoreline of 2:1 – 16:19 on Nuke, 13:9 on Vertigo and 13:8 on Anubis. In the decisive match, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire’s roster will try to take revenge on Astralis, to which they lost in the upper bracket final.

A rematch between FaZe and GamerLegion in Group B ended with the triumph of the Finn "karrigan" Andersen-led roster with a scoreline of 2:1 – 13:5 on Ancient, 12:16 on Overpass and 13:5 on Inferno. Now the European team will have to face Liquid.

G2 bested NIP in Group C for the second time, winning 2:0 – 13:6 on Vertigo and 13:9 on Anubis. In the grand final match, the Samurai will face NAVI, which turned out to be stronger in the upper bracket.

BIG advanced to the final match of Group D by defeating Cloud9 with a scoreline of 2:0 – 13:9 on Ancient and 13:10 on Anubis. The German team will fight for victory in the quartet against Virtus.pro.

Tomorrow, January 27, the grand finals of all four groups will play out. The playday kicks off at 12:00 CET.
