HLTV.org: ruggah may take charge of Astralis

Update from 9:18 CET: The Danish organization Astralis has officially confirmed that Casper "ruggah" Due will take charge of the team. The 35-year-old coach will take on the role on April 1.

Casper "ruggah" Due may become the new coach of the Astralis roster, as HLTV.org journalists managed to find out.

Due has reportedly reached an agreement with the organization and is ready to become a part of Astralis once his contract with OG expires in March. If the deal goes through, ruggah will replace Peter "castle" Ardenskjold, who departed the team at the end of December 2023.

Due has coached OG since January 2020. Under his guidance, the team won Spring Sweet Spring 2, as well as reached the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 14, BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 and BLAST Premier World Final 2022.

Note that ruggah missed OG's opening matches at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024. The Danish coach was unable to help his team due to family reasons.

Astralis' suggested lineup looks as follows:

 Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
 Nicolai "device" Reedtz
 Viktor "Staehr" Staehr
 Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
 Martin "stavn" Lund

 Casper "ruggah" Due (coach)
