stavn secures 9th place in ranking of best players of 2023

Danish esports athlete Martin "stavn" Lund has been ranked 9th in the list of the strongest players in 2023 according to the reputable portal HLTV.org. This is the 21-year-old's fourth consecutive top 20 finish.

stavn spent almost all of 2023 as part of Heroic. Before moving to Astralis, the young esports athlete won BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023, reached the finals of IEM Katowice 2023 and IEM Rio 2023, as well as placed 3rd-4th at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and IEM Dallas 2023.

The Dane has recorded an average rating of 1.15. As noted by HLTV.org staff, Lund earned a spot in the top 20 due to four exceptionally valuable player (EVP) awards, as well as high ADR (81.1) and percentage of maps with 1.15+ rating (56.5%).
