Reputable portal HLTV.org ranked David "frozen" Čerňanský 12th in its ranking of the world's best players of 2023. The esports athlete became the first member of FaZe's current roster to be included in the prestigious list.

Until December, the 21-year-old Slovakian represented MOUZ, with which he won ESL Pro League Season 18, as well as placed second at IEM Dallas 2023 and CS Asia Championships 2023. After moving to FaZe, Čerňanský reached the semi-finals of BLAST Premier World Final 2023.

At the end of 2023, frozen rating amounted to 1.19. Among other things, HLTV.org editors emphasized on his consistent performance (79% of maps with a rating over 1.00), as well as statistical success at big tournaments and in matches against opponents from the top 10 of the world ranking.
