Top 5 of HLTV.org ranking finishes 2023 unchanged

The last HLTV.org ranking update of 2023 did not see any changes in the number of leaders. The top 5 still includes Vitality, FaZe, MOUZ, NAVI and Virtus.pro.

The only change in the top ten is Cloud9 and Falcons swapping positions. The Russian team rose to ninth place, ousting its competitor one position lower.

Multiple rosters at the bottom of the published list made marginal progress towards the end of the year. At the same time, Heroic, which carried out a global restructuring of the team, lost its place in the top 30.

HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
