Copenhagen Wolves returns to pro scene

Copenhagen Wolves announced via its Twitter account the return to the professional scene. The club was disbanded in the summer of 2016.

According to Dust2.us, the tag returns to Counter-Strike after a change of owner. The organization was acquired by a 23-year-old US entrepreneur Jared Habib.

Copenhagen Wolves was one of the leading organizations of the Danish pro scene in the early days of CS:GO. The tag participated in the DreamHack Winter 2013, ESL One Cologne 2014 and DreamHack Winter 2014 Majors, reaching the playoffs at the first of them.

At different times, multiple famous esports athletes competed for the club. The list includes Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Casper "cadiaN" Møller, Finn "karrigan" Andersen, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Nicolai "device" Reedtz.
