sdy secures MVP award for his performance at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023

For the first time in the history of ESL Challenger tournaments, HLTV.org determined the most valuable player. Monte's Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev has secured the MVP award following the results of the event that ended in Jonkoping yesterday, November 26.

At ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023, the roster from Ukraine played seven maps, each of which sdy finished with a positive rating. The player recorded an event rating of 1.36.

Notably, this is the first MVP in Orudzhev's career. In addition to the recent tournament, he also won the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 trophy with NAVI, where Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was named the MVP.

In the ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023 final, Monte defeated Eternal Fire with a scoreline of 2:0. Due to this victory, the team secured $50K in prize money and a spot at ESL Pro League Season 19.
