erkaSt joins Grayhound as coach
The well-known Mongolian player Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga will continue his esports career as a coach. This was reported by Grayhound, which signed him.
Notably, erkaSt is already familiar with Grayhound. From June 2017 to August 2019, he was part of the Australian club's squad. After that, he competed for a number of other rosters, and also tried himself out at Valorant.
Grayhound have been without a coach since February of this year, when David "Kingfisher" Kingsford departed the team. Over the past six months, the roster fell short to achieve significant results at the international level, but has retained their place among the best in the Asian region.
The Australian team's next match will take place in the upper bracket final of the ESL ANZ Championship Season 17 playoffs. On November 20, erkaSt will officially debut as a coach in a match against the winner of the Rooster – VERTEX matchup.
Grayhound's current lineup is:
Alistair "aliStair" Johnston
Joshua "INS" Potter
Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas
Simon "Sico" Williams
Declan "Vexite" Portelli
Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga (coach)
