NiKo remains in G2, declining Falcons transfer

Bosnian esports athlete Nikola "NiKo" Kovač will remain in G2, as European club announced via its Twitter account.

Kovač has been competing for G2 since 2020. Together with the team, he won a number of big events, including IEM Katowice 2023 and IEM Cologne 2023.

Earlier, reputable insider Guillaume "neL" Ratier claimed that Falcons bought out the Bosnian star's contract for several million dollars. It is likely that the transfer of Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov will not take place after Kovač's refusal to move to the Saudi club

What is still uncertain is the course of action that Falcons will choose. Yesterday, November 5, the organization benched Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro, Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak and Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea. At the same time, the club left Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas in the starting five, indicating their reliance on the Jordanian for the new project.

 G2's current lineup is:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
 Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
 Justin "jks" Savage
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen

 Jan "Swani" Müller (coach)
