Monte through to Thunderpick World Championship 2023 semi-final; Heroic – VP match postponed

Monte became the first semi-finalist of Thunderpick World Championship 2023. In the quarter-final match, Ukrainian team defeated Team Spirit with a scoreline of 2:0 – 13:8 on Nuke and 16:12 on Vertigo.

Monte's opponent was supposed to be determined today, in the Heroic – Virtus.pro matchup, but it was postponed due to players of the Danish team having Internet connection problems. The match will resume tomorrow, November 4, at 13:00 CET, with Heroic leading 9:7 on the second map of the BO3 series. Virtus.pro won the first map.

The start of the semi-final with Monte's participation is scheduled for tomorrow at 19:00 CET. In turn, Team Spirit placed 5th-8th, having secured $12.5K in prizes.

The playday at Thunderpick World Championship 2023 will continue with the remaining two quarter-final matches: Cloud9 – BIG and FaZe – MOUZ.
