TeamOne to return to Counter-Strike pro scene in 2024
Brazilian club TeamOne intends to assemble a roster in CS2 by 2024. One of the club’s managers, Rodrigo Terron, shared this information in an interview with Dust2 Brasil.
TeamOne was represented on the competitive scene until the spring of this year. After an unsuccessful performance at the America RMR for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, the roster was disbanded.
Terron explained that the organization chose not to participate in the Counter-Strike pro scene in order to maintain an external perspective for evaluating the CS2 release and understanding the prospects of this discipline. According to him, the formation of a new roster will begin by the end of 2023, so that it is ready to qualify for the first CS2 Major.
Currently, one player from the previous lineup, Alencar "trk" Rossato, remains under contract with TeamOne. He has been inactive since April and, as the club management assured, will be considered as a candidate for the new roster.
