Corinthians' former players intend to sue club over salary arrears

Corinthians' former players intend to sue the club because of salary arrears, as Dust2 Brasil journalists discovered.

Caio "zqkS" Fonseca, Felipe "delboNi" Delboni, Daniel "danoco" Morgado and coach Matheus "KAOS" Nicolau reportedly made the demand. According to them, Corinthians owe about $8.6K, which has not been paid since the roster disband in December 2022.

The players have notified the club that it must meet their demand by the end of the week. Otherwise they will file a lawsuit against Corinthians.

In turn, Corinthians manager Rafael Magalhães said that the accrued wage arrears were calculated for the month during which the team did not compete. He also claimed that the club would provide a more detailed response as part of a possible lawsuit.

Notably, the roster competed for the organization from July to December 2022. However, at the end of last year, the Brazilian football club Corinthians left the pro scene for several months
