Vitality takes lead in Group A at ESL Pro League Season 18; ORKS to fight for survival

The second playday at ESL Pro League Season 18, during which the participants of Goup A competed, ended with Vitality and Astralis securing victories. In the semi-final match, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire’s roster defeated NIP (16:3 on Mirage and 16:9 on Nuke), while the Danish grand got the best of ORKS (16:5 on Nuke and 16:6 on Overpass).

Due to this, Vitality secured their spot in the playoffs with their second victory in a row, while ORKS are now one step away from being eliminated and will fight for survival with Grayhound in the lower bracket.

In turn, Astralis and NIP will continue competing in the middle bracket, where tomorrow, September 1, they will face GamerLegion and FURIA, respectively.
