syrsoN comments on rumors about departure from BIG

BIG's AWPer Florian "syrsoN" Rische commented during a live stream on his Twitch channel on the information that surfaced in recent reports about him leaving the German team. While he did not confirm nor deny the rumors, syrsoN assured the fans that he is not facing any health problems and has no plans to retire.

First of all, I'm doing well. Many thought I had a medical condition or something like that, but that's not the case. I can't say much. I joined an agency yesterday and if I wasn't feeling good or if I would want to quit CS:GO I wouldn't have done something like this. As of right now, I can't say much more because I'm still under contract with BIG, but I think you can guess what's going on. That's basically all I can say about that.

According to journalists, Rische himself decided to depart BIG and asked to be benched following an unsuccessful performance at IEM Katowice 2023. During the main sniper's absence, his duties were assumed by Marcel "hyped" Köhn from the club's academy roster, with whom the Germans secured a ticket to IEM Brazil 2023.

syrsoN has been representing BIG for the past four years. With him on board, the team achieved its biggest success in 2020, when they managed to win several online tournaments and for a while top the world ranking.
