Dexerto: syrsoN departs BIG on his own accord

BIG member Florian "syrsoN" Rische has decided to leave the team, according to a report by Dexerto, which cites sources close to the matter.

syrsoN asked the club to put him on the sidelines after a poor performance at IEM Katowice 2023. The German squad finished the prestigious tournament in 13-16th place.

Today, February 8, Rische will miss the start of the closed European qualifier for IEM Brazil 2023, where he is set to be replaced by the club's academy AWPer Marcel "hyped" Köhn. In the near future, the youngster is expected to become a full-fledged member of BIG's main roster.

syrsoN has been with BIG since the beginning of 2019. During this time, he helped the team win a number of big tournaments, including DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Europe and cs_summit 6 Europe, and also emerged in tenth place on the list of the best players of 2020 according to HLTV.org.

Should Dexerto's information be confirmed, BIG will continue the season with the following lineup:

 Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz
Nils "k1to" Gruhne
 Josef "faveN" Baumann
 Karim "Krimbo" Moussa
Marcel "hyped" Köhn
