k0nfig to stand in for Endpoint at European Development Championship 6

Danish player Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke will act as Endpoint's stand-in at European Development Championship 6, the UK club has announced on its Twitter account.

k0nfig will play at least a match against Illuminar in the Round of 16, which will take place today, November 16, at 18:00 MSK. The Dane will replace Guy "Nertz" Iluz, who will miss the meeting due to the wedding.

The upcoming game will be the first for Wienecke since September 19, when he, being on the Astralis roster, lost to Heroic at ESL Pro League Season 16 and exited the tournament. Later it turned out that after being eliminated from the event, the esports athlete got into a fight with a nightclub promoter in Malta and broke his ankle. This subsequently led to Astralis parting ways with the player.

Recently, k0nfig announced that he is looking for a new team. According to the Dane, he continues to work with a psychologist, has completely solved all alcohol abuse issues and intends to return to the tier-1 scene.
