Team Brazil wins showmatch at IEM Rio Major 2022

Team Brazil defeated Team Sweden in a showmatch at IEM Rio Major 2022. The meeting was held in a best-of-one format on Train and ended with a 16:8 scoreline.

The exhibition match featured legends of the CS:GO pro scene from Brazil and Sweden. On the day of the game, it was revealed that the European squad will be completed by Dane Finn "karrigan" Andresen, who was brought in to replace the ill Jesper "JW" Wecksell.

The showmatch took place in the run-up to the IEM Rio Major 2022 grand final, where Heroic will face off against Outsiders for the title. The decisive confrontation of the Major will kick off today, November 13, at 21:00 MSK.
