ESL teases lineups for showmatch between Swedish and Brazilian legends at IEM Rio Major 2022

The organizers of IEM Rio Major 2022 have unveiled but later deleted the lineups of the teams taking part in the showmatch, which will play out on November 13 before the Major's grand final. In such a manner, ESL most likely made a teaser announcement revealing the teams of legends from Sweden and Brazil, which will clash in an exhibition game.

According to the deleted tweet, the Brazilian roster includes five former Luminosity/SK players: Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, Marcelo "coldzera" David, Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and Lincoln "fnx" Lau. In 2016, this team went down in the history of the CS:GO pro scene after two Major trophies in a row.

Representing the Swedish all-star team will be the trio of ex-NIP players Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg, Adam "friberg" Friberg and Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund. They will be joined by Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, who are best known for their time in fnatic.

IEM Rio Major 2022 will run from October 31 to November 13. During the competition, 24 teams will battle out a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
