HooXi: "I don't think I can put up the performance in the EPL groups consistently"

G2's in-game leader Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen answered some questions from Reddit users and, among other things, commented on his own performance in Group B at ESL Pro League Season 16, which he finished with an unexpectedly high rating of 1.02. The Dane is unsure whether he will be able to maintain a high individual level of play in the future.

I just worked my ass off playing DM, pugs, whatever I thought would help in the aim department. At the same time I was watching a lot of demos of myself. Another thing would be that we are getting more on the same page as a team which gives me more space to focus individually. I don't think I can put up the performance in the EPL groups consistently yet, but I am still working hard so we will see where it leads me.

Also, HooXi once again noted that the G2 roster does not need a captain with high individual statistics.

Depends a lot on the lineup. A good example would be that G2 didn't need a fragging IGL, so I don't need to master that part of the game 100%, but let's say I was to join BIG, then I would horrible because they need a guy like tabseN that can shoot hard. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

At ESL Pro League Season 16, the European squad under the leadership of Nielsen won all their matches in Group B. This result allows the team to start the playoffs immediately from the quarterfinals.
