fnx becomes Imperial coach

Imperial have announced on their social media the removal of Lincoln "fnx" Lau from the team's starting lineup. The Brazilian esports athlete will continue to represent the club as a coach and streamer.

fnx will lead Imperial's roster at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022 and the upcoming Americas RMR, as well as at IEM Rio Major 2022 if the team earns a spot in this tournament. At this point, there is no information about whether he will be in charge of the coaching duties after the Major.

The aforementioned reshuffles in the Imperial camp come shortly after the departure of previous coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu and rumors that Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes will fill in the vacant spot. The potential newcomer has already parted ways with MIBR and should join the new team shortly.

The changes in Imperial happen amid the team's poor results over the past few months. After a successful run at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where the Brazilians finished in 9-11th place, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and company failed five subsequent tournaments.

Imperial's next matches will take place at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022. The event will be held in Australia from September 2 to 9.

 Imperial's current lineup is:

 Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
 Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
 Ricardo "boltz" Prass
 Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo

 Lincoln "fnx" Lau (coach)
