Some RMR qualifiers moved to FACEIT platform amid problems with ESEA Client

Tournament operator ESL will move the three remaining South American qualifiers for the upcoming RMR event from the ESEA platform to FACEIT, the company has announced in a press release on its official website.

The reason for the qualifiers being moved to FACEIT was the problems with the ESEA Client, which took place during the first open qualifier. Players faced match delays due to technical reasons, GOTV issues, lack of servers and poor ESEA's support service.

Similar problems arose in all regions, but in South America they led to some matches being postponed to the next day. ESL apologized for the inconvenience and assured that the presence of many FACEIT servers in South America would prevent such a situation from happening again.

The organizers of the open qualifiers have also changed the region in which Pakistani teams will compete for the RMR spot. Rosters from this country started the qualifier for all of Asia, but experienced problems with ping, after which they were relocated to play in the Middle East qualifier.

The open qualifiers for the upcoming RMR tournaments for Europe, the Americas and Asia are being held from August 15 to September 9.
