G2 analyst to take over as temporary coach once maLeK departs

German specialist Jan "Swani" Müller will temporarily take over as G2’s coach following the parting with Damien "⁠maLeK⁠" Marcel. Swani shared this information on his Twitter account.

Previously, Müller worked as an analyst for Liquid, SK, MIBR, NRG and FURIA. Since mid-2019, he has been a member of the coaching staff of G2.

It is currently unknown how long the 26-year-old specialist will coach the European squad. Earlier, G2 were reportedly close to signing a contract with a former coach of Valiance and CR4ZY Luka "emi" Vuković.

IEM Winter 2021 will be the next tournament for G2. The LAN event with a prize pool of $250,000 will be held from December 2 to 12 in Sweden.
