IEM Beijing 2026 opening matchups revealed

Tournament operator ESL has announced the group stage seeding for IEM Beijing 2026, the Counter-Strike 2 event set to take place next month.

The 16 participants have been split evenly into two groups, which will be played in a double-elimination (GSL) format. The top three teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs, with the group winners going straight to the semi-finals. All matches will be best-of-three (BO3), while the grand final will be a best-of-five (BO5).

NAVI will open their campaign against Falcons, FURIA will face FaZe, PARIVISION will meet G2, Aurora will take on Liquid, and BETBOOM TEAM will play 9z.

IEM Beijing 2026 will be held from November 2 to 8, 2026 in Beijing, China, with 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
