Evil Geniuses & Bad News Bears eliminated at cs_summit 8

Evil Geniuses and Bad News Bears have finished their performance at North American RMR Tournament at cs_summit 8. Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's squad lost to FURIA (20:22 on Overpass and 6:16 on Inferno) and BNB players lost to EXTREMUM (13:16 on Inferno and 12:16 on Nuke) in the elimination matches.

"It could be a lot of external things sometimes," VINI said about Friday's loss. "After today's match, I think we are really confident. It's not going to be the same match. I don't think anything is going to change whether we win or lose tomorrow. It's more about consistency. I think we've figured out how to play against them."

In the final matches of the group stage, FURIA will face O PLANO, while Liquid will face EXTREMUM. The winners of these matches will earn a spot for a place in the upper bracket playoffs. In turn, the losing teams will start their way from the lower bracket.

"It's been rough for us since we started the team," Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad explained following the match when asked about playing in Europe for the last few months. "The EU scene is really hard, the tier 2 and tier 3 teams play really well, they shoot hard. We've been putting in a lot of work and we're hoping it will pay off in NA, because this is where we became a good team."
