nitr0 excluded from Liquid roster

Liquid officially confirmed that Nicholas "nitr0" Canella left the active roster of the team. The player was part of the original composition of the organization, which represented for five years. During this time he won six Tier 1 tournaments, and the best result in the majors was the final of ESL One Cologne 2016.

In his farewell words, nitr0 thanked everyone he worked with during this time. However, he did not share his plans for his future career.

"Going into the player break, we were obviously having some problems within the team, and once we decided on our roster for the future, then I really thought that we needed to change something, because we weren't having the results that we wanted.

So I decided to just start in-game leading, I've done it in the past and it was kind of successful. In the past, we didn't have as much firepower on the team, and whenever I'm in-game leading, it's hard for me to frag, obviously it still happens today, but now we have better fraggers on the team, we don't need my firepower."

The organization thanked the player in return, but did not publish the name of the substitute. Earlier it has been reported that 19-year-old Michael "Grim" Vince from Triumph would take his spot. Probably confirmed information about the new player will appear soon, as already August 8 Liquid will start at the DreamHack Open Summer tournament for North America.

The line-up of Liquid looks like this at the moment:

 Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
 Russell "Twistzz" Van Dulken
 Keith "NAF" Markovich
 Jake "Stewie2K" Yip

 Eric "adreN" Hoag (Coach)
