MIBR to participate in the American division of ESL Pro League S11

MIBR confirmed on Twitter their participation in the 11th season of ESL Pro League. The published announcement informs that the team will have to combine the tournament performance with Flashpoint 1, as they hope to qualify for the ESL One Cologne 2020 through the ESL Pro Tour rating.

At the same time, MIBR criticized the tournament operator's tournament system and called for it to be revised so that representatives of all leagues have an equal chance to compete in the prestigious Cologne championship. The Brazilians are currently ranked 19th in the ESL Pro Tour with 120 points, which does not allow for a direct invite or even a spot at the LAN qualification.

MIBR is the founding team of Flashpoint 1, which runs parallel to the Pro League from ESL. Both tournaments were to take place in LAN format, but went online because of the coronavirus pandemic.

At ESL Pro League S11, the Brazilian team was the last member of the American division to join 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, Liquid and Swole Patrol. The presented six will compete in the period from March 26 to April 12.
