yxngstxr joins Luminocity

21-year-old Swedish esports athlete Simon "yxngstxr" Boije has become the fifth player on Luminocity's Counter-Strike 2 roster. The Canadian club officially announced the news via its X social media account.

yxngstxr replaced Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, who was benched by the organization today. Boije competed for HEROIC from January 2025 to July 2026, after which he was benched. He departed the club on August 25.

Luminocity currently sits 39th in Valve's official ranking of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams in the world. Today, the organization also signed Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk as head coach.
