Luminocity returns to CS with new roster
North American esports club Luminocity announced its return to Counter-Strike: the organization has signed the core of Monte. The official statement was published on X.
This signing of Luminocity brings together Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, Oscar "AZUWU" Bell, Aurelien "afro" Drapier, and Alex "Rainwaker" Petrov. The first three players' contracts with Monte expired (according to media reports, the Ukrainian club offered the players an extension, but they declined), and Luminocity did not have to pay for their transfers. However, Rainwaker was acquired by the North American club.
Ex-Legacy Lucas "lux" Meneghini has taken over as the IGL of the new squad. Meneghini has been benched by Legacy since February of this year.
Luminocity currently sits 18th in Valve's official ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad will debut at XSE Pro League 2026 in China.
