IEM Rio 2026 EVPs and best five announced

HLTV.org has published the list of players who received the Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVP) award following IEM Rio 2026 in Brazil.

The EVP title was awarded to players who delivered outstanding performances at the tournament but were not named MVP. The list features representatives of Falcons, Vitality, FURIA, and Team Spirit. A total of six players made the cut:

 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov (Falcons);
 Andrei "tN1R" Tatarinovich (Team Spirit);
 Robin "ropz" Kool (Vitality);
 Yuri "yuurih" Santos (FURIA);
 Danil "donk" Kryshkovets (Team Spirit);
 Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato (FURIA).

HLTV authors also presented the all-star lineup of IEM Rio 2026 by roles, featuring one FURIA esports athlete and two players each from Team Spirit and Vitality.

IEM Rio 2026 took place from April 13-19 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, featuring 16 teams. The total prize pool of the tournament amounted to $300,000. In the grand final, Vitality crushed Team Spirit with a scoreline of 3:0. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was named the most valuable player of the competition.
