imd takes over as GamerLegion head coach

German esports club GamerLegion officially announced the appointment of Adrian "imd" Pieper as head coach of the organization's Counter-Strike 2 team.

The 29-year-old Polish esports athlete was the team's interim coach since Ashley "ash" Battye's inactivity in December of last year. Prior to this, imd worked as an assistant coach at GamerLegion for a year and a half.

GamerLegion currently sits 14th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. A few days ago, ash announced his departure from the organization.
