Valve confirm Cache's return to CS2

Counter-Strike 2 developers have officially confirmed that they are working on an updated version of Cache. Valve announced this publicly via their X social media account.

After today's patch was released, NAVI noted that Cache is still missing from the game. In response to a question from a Ukrainian team, the CS2 developers stated that the map is being worked on.

Rumors began circulating last year that Cache would return to Counter-Strike's map pool. This information was confirmed by the creator of the new version of the map for CS2, Shawn "FMPONE" Snelling.

Note that in today's patch, the developers launched the new Premier season, updated weapon balance in Counter-Strike 2, made some adjustments to the jump mechanics, improved sounds, and brought back Anubis. The full list of changes can be found in our article.
