flameZ sits 7th in 2025 ranking

Vitality's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan ranked 7th in 2025's ranking of the best pro Counter-Strike 2 players according to HLTV.org.

The Israeli esports athlete's main achievements past year include victories at Majors and other big tournaments. Shushan was named EVP at BLAST Open London 2025, IEM Chengdu 2025, ESL Pro League Season 21, and ESL Pro League Season 22.

flameZ's average rating for the year was 1.12. HLTV.org recognized Shahar for having the best Anubis rating, the highest trade rate, the best winrate after a kill in a round, and much more.

Notably, HLTV.org has been publishing the top 20 best Counter-Strike 2 players of the past year every day, starting December 24th. The top three esports athlete will be revealed on January 10th at the HLTV Awards 2025 ceremony. The sixth-place holder will be announced tomorrow, January 7th, at 8:00 PM CET. David "frozen" Čerňanský took eighth place.
