Wildcard unveils new coach
North American esports club Wildcard announced the signing of James "JamezIRL" Macaulay as head coach of their Counter-Strike 2 team. The official statement was published on X's social media account.
Last year, JamezIRL served as an assistant coach at Complexity, while before that, he coached Cloud9. Macaulay has been inactive since December. Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak previously served as Wildcard's coach.
Notably, several days ago, Wildcard announced the complete disbandment of its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization put Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Love "phzy" Smidebrant, and Josh "JBa" Barutt on transfer list, and benched Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell. Maciej "F1KU" Miklas will depart Wildcard at the end of November after his contract expires.
