HEROIC benches LNZ
Norwegian esports club HEROIC has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization benched IGL Linus "LNZ" Holtäng, who has played for HEROIC since January of this year. The Swede's average rating over the past three months is 0.89 (in 54 maps).
According to unofficial reports, the vacant position on the team will be filled by 19-year-old Danish esports athlete Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard, who competed for OG from August 2024 to October 2025, after which the club put him on the bench him, where he remains to this day.
Notably, HEROIC recently placed 9th-12th at IEM Chengdu 2025 and finished in the top 8 at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. The squad currently sits 14th in Valve's world ranking. A rumor also surfaced on the web that HEROIC was seeking a replacement for Simon "yxngstxr" Boije.
