Insider: HEROIC look for yxngstxr's replacement

According to unconfirmed reports, Norwegian esports club HEROIC may make another change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich reported this via his personal Telegram channel.

According to Radvilovich, the team is seeking a replacement for Simon "yxngstxr" Boije, who has been competing for HEROIC since January of this year. The Swedish esports athlete's average rating over the past three months is 0.95 (in 50 maps). The organization itself has not yet made any official statements regarding this matter.

A rumor previously surfaced on the web that 19-year-old Danish esports athlete Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard would soon be joining the HEROIC Counter-Strike 2 starting five.

HEROIC recently placed 9th-12th at IEM Chengdu 2025 and finished in the top 8 at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. The team currently ranks 14th in Valve's world ranking.
