Insider: FaZe practicing with Twistzz instead of rain
According to unofficial reports, the rookie of FaZe's Counter-Strike 2 roster Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken may replace Håvard "rain" Nygaard on the team. This was reported by insider solutioN00 on Telegram.
According to solutioN00, the 31-year-old Norwegian esports athlete is not participating in the squad's practice matches. Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov also previously reported on rain's departure from the lineup.
Nygaard has represented FaZe for almost ten years, since January 2016. rain's average rating over the past three months is 1.09 (in 44 maps). Throughout his pro Counter-Strike career, which began in 2013, Håvard has earned over $1.8 million in prizes.
FaZe currently sits 11th in Valve's global ranking. The team will compete in the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 22, which kicks off on October 4, with a new starting five.
