PGL Astana 2026 announced

Tournament operator PGL has announced a new Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Kazakhstan – it will be held from May 7 to 18, 2026, at the same Barys Arena in Astana. The total prize pool of the event will amount to $1.6 million – $350,000 more than at PGL Astana 2026.

The competition will take place with the participation of 16 squads, 12 of which will be invited directly based on Valve's ranking. Four teams will advance to the tournament through regional qualifiers. Invites will be issued on March 2 next year.

Note that PGL Astana 2025 played out from May 10 to 18 in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, with the participation of 16 rosters. The total prize pool of the competition was $625,000. In the final, Team Spirit defeated Astralis with a scoreline of 3:1. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was chosen the most valuable player of the tournament.
