Liquid benches jks
Dutch esports club Liquid has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster once again. This time, Justin "jks" Savage has departed the team – the organization has benched him. The official announcement was published on the X social media.
The 29-year-old Australian esports athlete has been competing for Liquid since July of last year, while before that he represented G2, Complexity and other squads. Savage's average rating over the past three months is 0.96 (in 40 maps).
Earlier, a rumor surfaced on the web that 22-year-old Polish esports athlete Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek could take over as the new IGL of Liquid's Counter-Strike 2 starting five.
Liquid placed 9th-12th place at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, 5th-8th at ESL Pro League Season 21, 9th-12th at IEM Katowice 2025 and 9th-16th at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. The roster currently occupies 13th place in Valve's world ranking. Note that a few days ago, the squad also parted ways with coach Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg.
