YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 invites announced

Tournament operator YaLLa has revealed six teams that have received direct invites to the upcoming YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, and also announced changes to the dates, format, and prize pool distribution.

Eternal Fire, Astralis, paiN, Virtus.pro, 3DMAX, and MIBR have accepted invitations to the event, but the organizers emphasized that the final list of participants may be adjusted if any of the invitees participate in the regional qualifiers for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 will be held from April 16 to 19 this year (the competition was originally planned to end on the 20th). The dates have been changed due to 5 of the 6 invited squads participating in IEM Melbourne 2025, which kicks off on April 21. The YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 finals format has been changed from BO5 to BO3.

Finally, YaLLa followed the path of other tournament operators and unveiled a new prize pool distribution ($600,000), which will be equally divided between players and clubs.

The competition will take place in Doha, Qatar, with 12 rosters participating, six of which will qualify through closed qualifiers.
