Premier Season One ends in CS2

On the night of January 27-28, a small patch was released in Counter-Strike 2, in which the developers wrapped up the first season of Premier. Accordingly, the Premier mode in matchmaking was temporarily disabled. No other changes were made to the game. Valve reported this via the official website of the game.

Note that on January 25, the Counter-Strike 2 developers announced the release of a big patch, which will include a new Premier season, changes to the map pool, and an update to some types of weapons. The release of the patch is scheduled for this week. The statement indicated that before the start of Premier Season Two, there will be one day of off-season, when the players' rating will be recalibrated based on the results of Season One.

Premier Season One in Counter-Strike 2 kicked off with the game's release, that is, about a year and a half ago. Season Two will end immediately after BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, which is scheduled for June 3-22, 2025.
