Rumors: NertZ to join Liquid

HEROIC's Guy "NertZ" Iluz will join Liquid's Counter-Strike 2 roster. Sheep Esports reported this, citing its own sources.

According to media reports, the 25-year-old Israeli esports player has already reached an agreement with the Dutch club. Iluz has been competing for HEROIC since December of last year. NertZ's average rating over the past three months is 1.22 (in 50 maps).

Note that yesterday Liquid announced changes to its CS2 lineup: the organization benched Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, who represented the club for over two years – since October 2022.

Liquid secured 5th-8th place at the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China and earned $45,000. The squad currently occupies ninth place in HLTV ranking.
