Liquid benches YEKINDAR
Dutch esports club Liquid announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the organization benched Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis.
The 25-year-old Latvian esports athlete has represented Liquid for over two years, since October 2022. Before that, he spent two more years with Virtus.pro. Gaļinskis' average rating over the past three months is 0.94 (in 33 maps).
Liquid has not yet named the player who will fill the vacant position in the squad. YEKINDAR himself has already stated via his X social media account that he is open to new offers.
Liquid secured 5th-8th place at the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China and earned $45,000 as a reward. The roster currently occupies 9th place in HLTV ranking.
