Virtus.pro benches n0rb3r7

Another player departed Virtus.pro's active Counter-Strike 2 roster today: the organization benched David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan. It is not yet known who will fill the vacant position in the lineup.

"The club is open to offers regarding David's transfer. Further changes to the CS2 roster will be announced", claims the official statement on the Virtus.pro website.

Virtus.pro CEO Nikolai Petrossian commented on this announcement as follows:

David is a strong and talented player, and his contribution to our successes has been evident throughout his time on the team. We are proud that he has been a part of Virtus.pro, but sometimes in a team's life, you need to rethink your approaches and priorities.

After many discussions with the team and the coach, we jointly concluded that David needs a change now to focus on his goals and opportunities. We, for our part, will support him in his next steps and continue to work on strengthening our roster.

The 23-year-old Russian esports athlete has been representing the Bears for over two and a half years – since May 2022. Danielyan's average rating over the past three months is 1.03 (in 29 maps).

Virtus.pro placed 20th-22nd at the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China and earned $10,000 in prize money. After that, IGL Dzhami "Jame" Ali parted ways with the squad. The roster currently occupies 15th place in HLTV ranking.

 Virtus.pro are now:

 Petr "fame" Bolyshev
 Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev
 Nikolay "mir" Bityukov

 Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev (coach)
