Insider: Vitality wants to sell apEX [Updated]

Update (14:20 CET): The organization has denied the rumor.

According to unconfirmed information, the co-founder of the French esports club Vitality Fabien "Neo" Devide intends to sell the team's IGL Dan "apEX" Madesclaire.

Insider, streamer and GenOne's owner Sebastien "KRL" Perez reported this, citing his own sources. According to KRL, the head of the club did not notify either the team or the esports athlete himself of his decision.

Note that a few days ago, Shahar "flameZ" Shushan extended his contract with the French organization until December 31, 2027. Moreover, KRL reported that Vitality's management wanted to buy out Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo, who currently competes for MOUZ, but the Finn declined the offer. Earlier, it also became known that Lotan "Spinx" Giladi may part ways with the Vitality Counter-Strike 2 roster in 2025.

Vitality finished Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A with a 3:0 record. The squad defeated such opponents as GamerLegion, BetBoom Team and FaZe. Thus, they secured a ticket to the Elimination Stage of the upcoming Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major, which kicks off at the end of November.
