Valve work on improving CS2's network code

Counter-Strike 2's development team is working on a complete rework of the animation system in the game, which will have a positive effect on the network code due to more efficient use of bandwidth. Valve's representative Fletcher Dunn reported this on Reddit. The developer emphasized that this is a large project, and they will need time to implement it.

We know that we are using more bandwidth than necessary. It's because of an old animation system that does not network efficiently. We are working to replace it, but this is a large project.

Note that a few days ago, Valve released a large update for Counter-Strike 2, called Armory. In it, the developers added gun charms and many new skins to the game, improved animation and network code, updated some maps, and also made a number of other important changes to CS2.
